Delays At Airports Throughout Europe
"Airlines have so far canceled 3 flights departing from Budapest Airport on Monday due to the ash cloud drifting towards Europe from Iceland.

London Gatwick Airport was closed this morning, whilst London Luton and London Heathrow Airports operated with reduced capacity due to the ash cloud drifting over the British Isles and the Benelux countries. Amsterdam Airport was also unable to receive flights. As a result, airlines canceled flights departing to these airports from Ferihegy. Passengers holding bookings for these flights will have them changed to subsequent flights free of charge by airlines.

Budapest Airport, the operator of Ferihegy Airport recommends that passengers who wish to travel from Budapest to western Europe during the coming days should contact their airline before traveling, via their offices or website, or check Budapest Airport’s website for precise departure times and information."
