Hungarian Gov’t Will Carry On With Metro4 Project
"The government will not halt construction of the fourth metro line in Budapest, infrastructure state secretary Pal Volner of the National Development Ministry said in a television interview. The government does not want to repeat earlier mistakes, he added.

Construction costs must be reviewed, he said, adding that the total cost of the metro project has reached Ft 500 billion.

The government is set to release this week the list of large-scale EU-funded projects that will be halted or called off. Money thus saved will be channelled to fund SMEs, Napi Gazdasag writes."
