Blood Drive In Budapest To Commemorate U.S. Terrorist Attacks Of 9/11
"Ambassador Eleni Tsakopoulos Kounalakis and staff at the U.S. Embassy in Budapest will participate in a Blood Drive organized by the Hungarian Red Cross as part of commemorations marking the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Embracing the American tradition of community service, President Obama designated September 11 as the National Day of Service and Remembrance to encourage Americans to reach out to others and give back to their community.

It is in this spirit that the Embassy blood donation will take place on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 10:30 am. The Blood Drive will take place at the 5th district Red Cross offices at Arany János utca 31.

This event is open to the media; for further information please contact Anna Katona at 475-4766."
