Budapest's Oldest Synagogue To Be Reopened

"Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén, Foreign Minister János Martonyi, Cardinal Péter Erdő and Israeli Religious Affairs Minister Yakov Margi will be present when the nearly 190-year-old synagogue in Óbuda, the Third District, is reopened on Sunday after 50 years.
The ceremony at Budapest's oldest synagogue will be performed by Israeli Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger and Shlomó Köves, senior rabbi of the United Hungarian Jewish Religious Community.
The synagogue was the home of an MTV studio until the spring."
