- 21 Sep 2010 1:00 AM
"A volunteer armed force of at least 6,000-8,000 soldiers will be established by late 2014, Defence Minister Csaba Hende told a local forum in Szombathely on Monday.
Hende said it was an irresponsible decision to abolish national service without establishing a volunteer reserve force. The state no longer has up-to-date information on who has reached adulthood, as it has no good registries at its disposal, he claimed."
