New Year's Eve Party At Hotel InterContinental Budapest
"We are happy to invite you to dine and dance your way into 2011 with style. The candle-lit atmosphere, the international and local cuisine, exciting programmes and live music will provide the right environment to entertain you. Together with your loved ones you can enjoy the wonderful view of Budapest while celebrating the New Year.

The New Year’s Eve party starts at 7 pm, including a welcome drink, our gala buffet and the consumption of red and white house wine, beer and soft drinks.

Highlights of the New Year’s Eve menu:

Cold starters
• Home made goose liver terrine with walnut – fig chutney
• Trout galantine filled with crab tails
• Short roasted peppered beef tenderloin carpaccio on ruccola with hibiscus glace and parmesan shavings
• Honey lacquered smoked duck breast with orange filets and hibiscus glace
• Venison pate with forest fruits
• Norwegian salmon marinated ginger and dill, with horseradish mousseline
• Salad of king prawns and shellfish with sun-dried tomatoes and artichokes
• Oyster bench with condiment
• Selection of Hungarian and international cheeses
• Baker’s corner with freshly baked country bread and rolls

Salad bar
• Lollo rosso, lollo bianco, rucola, frisee, radicchio, endives, iceberg
• Dressings and condiments

Soups
• Lobster bisque
• Consommé „double” flavoured with Celestine and root vegetables

Main dishes
• Braised lamb leg spiked with garlic and rosemary
• Corn fed chicken breast filled with goose liver
• Wild boar medallions on cranberry – red wine jus
• Venison stew with porcino mushrooms
• Fillet of sole filled with spinach
• Filled cabbage „Kolozsvár-style”
• Raviolis filled with truffle flavoured ricotta on wild herb sauce
