Quick Insight: AI Ranked Top Threat in Hungary by Allianz Risk Barometer
Cyber incidents top global business risks for the fifth straight year at 42%, according to the Allianz Risk Barometer's 15th survey of more than 3,300 experts across nearly 100 countries.

Artificial intelligence rocketed from 10th to 2nd worldwide (32%), the survey’s biggest leap, fueled by rapid adoption outpacing governance on issues such as liability, bias, IP infringement, and automated decision-making flaws.

Nearly half of respondents say that AI’s advantages outweigh the risks, but one in five disagree, citing operational, legal, and reputational exposure across firm sizes.

In Hungary, AI was ranked the No. 1 risk, followed by cyber threats, which surged from fifth to second (up from 20% to 37%). Regulatory changes dropped to third place.

Allianz Hungary’s Levente Vámos urges firms to build AI expert ise, security, and compliance alongside leveraging its efficiency gains.
