Missing Hungarian Cruise Ship Woman Report Was A Scam
"Tenth District police have begun criminal proceedings against three persons who falsely reported that a woman was missing from the Costa Concordia disaster in the hope of obtaining compensation.

The Hungarian woman said to be missing had been hiding in the cellar of a Budapest house.

The scam was uncovered by Hungarian-American lawyer Péter Rónai who is representing the six Hungarian survivors of the accident in a lawsuit against the operator of the cruise ship."
