"Zoltán Katonka has been member of the Central Europe Dance Theater since its re-foundation in 2006. The experiences of the 5 years spent at CEDT have slowly developed his very first choreography – in his piece, he analyses the workings of closed communities, the cohesion, its joys and traps.
Expect explosive and dynamic dance of sophisticated technique about unity, individuality, games and splits – and above all that, the joint goal as the power that carries the group ahead.
What makes the piece special is the unique viewpoint of the dancer-choreographer that’s internal and external at the same time: between him and the others, there’s this delicate and permeable surface, the filter.
