Hungarian Spa Town Hévíz Reopens Sármellék Airport
"The spa town of Hévíz has founded a company to operate Sármellék airport at Lake Balaton, with 126 flights already lined up for the summer season. The airport itself is owned by the towns of Sármellék and Zalavár.

Hévíz mayor Gábor Papp said 126 flights will arrive at the airport this year, most of them charter flights organised by local travel agency Mutsch Ungarn Reisen and operated by Lufthansa.

There will be weekly flights to four German cities, providing 80,000 guest nights in the region, Papp underlined.

The airport will be renamed Hévíz-Balaton Airport, which is also the name of the new operator company."
