LMP Signature Collectors Harassed in Hungary
"LMP activists collecting signatures in the party’s referendum drive were harassed by Second District public area maintenance staff over a period of several hours despite having a police permit, the party said.

Party local councillor Gábor Püspöki said the officials asked to see the personal documents of two party activists, jotted down the data and asked them to leave, even though they held a valid permit.

Campaign chief Gábor Vágó said similar incidents had occurred in other cities around the country.

LMP has so far collected 83,700 signatures but needs to collect 200,000 to force a referendum drive.

The questions concern the school-leaving age, the period of unemployment benefit, probationary periods at workplaces and holiday time for employees."
