Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary expresses its deep concern about the attempted rocket launch by North Korea on 13 April, which is a clear violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1874.

Hungary calls upon the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to adhere to its international obligations, including all relevant UN Security Council Resolutions.

We consider the maintenance of peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula a key issue which should be a priority for the Government of the DPRK as well.

Hungary at the same time expects the DPRK to refrain from any action that could further increase regional tension and the legitimate concerns of the international community.
