- 3 May 2012 9:02 AM
The vast majority of young Hungarians believe that those who are prepared to lie, cheat and steal get on much easier in life than those who live honestly, according to a survey conducted by Transparency International and Kutatópont.
Overall, 80% of Hungarians aged 15-29 generally reject corruption.
However, most say that winning admission to a good university or getting a good job is more attractive to them than staying honest.
Some 90% say corruption is prevalent in politics, and 84% say corruption is also present in business life.
