Summer Theatre Festival At Szentendre In Hungary Starts 29 June

The Szentendre Summer Fest of 50 years standing in 2008 is the greatest cultural event of the town. A real overall art festival from the end of June till the end of August, which offers variegated programs in all branches of art for both visitors coming to see Szentendre and local people.
The highlight of the festival program is the performances of Szentendre Theatre established in 1969, which are held at several open-air scenes. Audience can enjoy two or three home performances as well as guest performances of music, dance or prose theatres featuring the best directors and companies of Hungary.
