Hungarian Anti-Virus Maker Winds Up Operations
The owner of VirusBuster, the maker of the anti-virus software of the same name, is removing its products from the market as of October and closing down. The company, founded in 1997, said substantial changes have occurred on the market and it is no longer able to maintain its operations economically.

VirusBuster plunged into the red in 2010 with losses of Ft 230 million after a strong year in 2009, when profits hit Ft 146 million. Losses were cut to Ft 87 million last year.

VirusBuster will offer replacement products for customers until their existing licenses expire.
