Hungarian Cyclists Club Cancelled Critical Mass In Budapest
The Critical Mass procession of September 22 will be cancelled, János László, president of the Hungarian Cyclists Club, announced on Wednesday. He said progress has begun in Budapest and many people now cycle in the capital, so what they wanted has been achieved. Thus it is no longer necessary for people to take to the streets and disrupt traffic.

The group plans to stage a last farewell procession next spring.

Critical Mass processions have been held twice yearly since 2004, in April on Earth Day and on September 22, the EU’s Car free Day.
