Merlin Theater Has Moved To The Former Átrium Cinema In Budapest
The inner-Buda’s cinema has come back to life and opens it’s doors as a cultural institution under the name of Átrium Movie-Theater. In addition to theatrical performances in Hungarian as well as foreign languages, contemporary dance, classical and popular music performances; film screenings will also be part of the repertoire. The weekends will bring programs especially catering to families with children.

We welcome you to join us for our nostalgic event on 7th November, "The guest who stopped by and remained for 46 years." Where we will be recalling the atmosphere during the 1980s’ the 1’st May cinema’s golden age.

Movies, performaces, discussions, concerts in the Átrium. We will commemorate an event in 2012 which it was mandatory to celebrated up unti 1991.

18.00 Dziga Vertov: Man with the movie camera, silent movie with piano accompaniment

20.00 Inhabited Island - in Russian, with Hungarian subtitles
Post film discussions about the movies – under organization

Cafeteria
All-day installations, short films, super 8, animation films, agent movies.

22.30 party (DJ - Kanada Káosz)
On offer int he cafeteria during the day: vodka, Traubi, pickled cucumber, bread with typical lard and onions.

Entrance/ or support ticket: 500 Ft for groups, for 1 movie/movie block: 800, for all day: 1500 Ft.
