Hunger March Begins Tomorrow In Hungary
Hunger marches will start from at least 11 places in nine counties, starting on Thursday, Public Workers Union co-president Imre Komjáthi told Világgazdaság. He said their main demand is that those on public works schemes be paid a net sum of Ft 60,000 a month.

The earliest hunger marchers will leave from Sellye, Baranya county on January 31.

Komjáthi expressed hope that 5,000-10,000 people will demonstrate outside Parliament when the various hunger marchers arrive on February 11.

About 3,000 joined the protest last year. The march is supported by the Socialist Party.
