Hungary's Prime Minister Orbán Receives Indonesian President

The two officials agreed that the two countries will tighten their relations within the fields of agriculture, water management and the pharmaceutical industry.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán informed the Indonesian President about the economic situation in Central Europe, emphasizing that our region may be of heightened interest for the dynamically developing Indonesia in the coming years.
The Prime Minister of Hungary and the President of Indonesia agreed that following the financial crisis and the restructuring of the world economy, new value-based social and economic systems must be established in the interests of sustainability. Viktor Orbán also informed the President about the situation of Western Balkan states.
The two officials also agreed to launch a joint higher education scholarship program. Within the framework of this program, more than 50 Indonesian students may soon begin their studies in Hungary.
