About the exhibition:

The veteran cars and motors of the western world are shown in the first round-house depot. In the second one are exhibited the classic cars and motors of the Comecon era. At the front of the round-house is set the „USA Carnival” field where you can find the vintages of the States and next to it the oldtimer service businesses. This event also represents a spectacular carriage exhibition guided by tour guides in the second round-house. Visitors can check the carriages not only from outside but from inside, too. In the front of the engine round-house you can enjoy a gripping steam-engine exhibition.

At the front of the entrance is going to be prepared the VIP parking area for visitors who will attend the exhibition with their own certified oldtimers. Parking is free and guarded by security. For the visitors who arrive by car or bus there is a „visitor’s parking” including a 5000 car parking area, also free of charge, and the „Youngtimer” meeting is going to place here as well.

The Railway Museum offers all of its interactive programs which you can try all weekend long!

The interactive programs: ride on the horse tram, nostalgy travel by a steam-engine, ride on the turntable, hand-powered cart, model railway, garden railway and a bicycle field for the children as a novelty.

On the whole area of the event there are many other programs offered: truck and bus exhibition, fun-fair, live music, wurlitzer, making-up, pantomime, stiltwalkers, military camp.

In the museum park there will be many catering stands serving the famous Hungarian dishes as „lángos” (fried bread), „pörkölt” (Hungarian stew), „kürtős kalács” (chimney cake), „rétes” (strudel), grilled meals, desserts, coffe, soft drinks, cotton candy etc.

- Adult: 3000 HUF
- Children (under 14): 2000 HUF
- Children (under 3): free
- Family (2 adults + 2 children under 14): 9000 HUF
- Disabled persons: 1500 HUF

Tickets are available at the offices of Ticketexpress from 01.01.2013 until 14.03.2013., and at the ticket offices on the spot by cash or credit card.

During the event we provide to clubs and private collectors an opportunity to present their oldtimers. It all goes by invitation, what for you can apply with:

- Veteran cars and motors in original condition with no missing parts
- Veteran trucks and buses

Please, attach some photos about the vehicles, your phone number and address (without street and number). Our principle is to show only one type of each kind of vehicles which means if we had accepted a type of a vehicle we can not accept an other one for the spring exhibiton. But there is still a chance to the Oldtimer Show in autumn. Order of applying counts, as well. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. The most beautiful 25 vehicles of the exhibition are going to be awarded with cups, what will be decided by the panel of experts of the exhibition.
