Did Israeli Soldiers Take Part In 2006 Riots In Budapest?
A total of 120 Israeli soldiers arrived in Hungary shortly before the October 23, 2006 riots to “carry out routine anti-terrorist exercises,” it emerges from internal correspondence from American intelligence company Stratfor, published by WikiLeaks on Thursday.

WikiLeaks began to post some five million Stratfor e-mail messages it obtained in 2012.

In connection with the soldiers Stratfor staff member Klára E. Kiss-Kingston wrote to colleague Sean Noonan that it is noteworthy that a peaceful remembrance held on the 50th anniversary of the 1956 Uprising was brutally crushed by police officers wearing black masks without identifying numbers.

Klára Kiss told Origo on Thursday that the claim that Israeli soldiers took part in the 2006 police action was a simple assumption, and was not based on any secret information.
