Hungarian Government Commemorates Annamária Szalai

The Government has learnt with profound sadness of the passing of Annamária Szalai and expresses its deepest sympathy to her family. She endured her long-term, severe illness with patience and dignity.
She performed her work on an immaculate professional level until the last moment. The Hungarian Government is grateful for her dedicated work, which she carried out as a teacher, a Member of Parliament, a member of the National Radio and Television Commission (ORTT) and as President of the Media Council. Annamária Szalai spent all her life in the service of the Hungarian people. With her passing, Hungary has suffered a painful loss.
May she rest in peace!
