Biz Insight: Media, Communications Spending in Hungary Close to HUF 760 Billion

Turnover on Hungary's media and communications market climbed 6pc to HUF 758.7bn in 2025, the Hungarian Advertising Association (MRSZ) said on Tuesday.
Media spending rose 8pc to HUF 416bn.
Spending on digital ads climbed 11pc to HUF 232bn.
Spending on TV ads inched up 2pc to HUF 90bn. Ad spending in printed media rose 5pc to HUF 36bn.
Spending on outdoor advertising climbed 11pc to HUF 37bn. Spending on radio spots increased 10pc to HUF 18bn and spending on cinema advertising edged up 2pc to HUF 2bn.
Spending on communications, including PR, events, direct marketing, marketing research and ambient advertising, rose 4pc to HUF 343bn.
