László Bige, owner of chemical companies and fertiliser producers, moved up to the runner-up position with an estimated fortune of Ft 130 billion, some Ft 20 billion more than in 2012.

The value of assets owned by György Gattyán, whose companies supply adult content for websites, also rose by Ft 20 billion to Ft 118 billion.

In fourth place, Gábor Várszegi is worth an estimated Ft 100 billion, ahead of Sándor Demján at Ft 90 billion, both some Ft 15 billion below their 2012 total.

The net worth of assets held by the 100 richest individuals grew by 6%, more slowly than inflation, from Ft 2.22 trillion last year to Ft 2.28 trillion in 2013.
