New Bus Already Vandalised In Budapest

A group of seven people has vandalised one of the new Mercedes Citaro buses that was put into service in the first days of May, causing Ft 250,000 worth of damage, the Budapest Transport Centre told MTI on Thursday.
The act of vandalism, which took place on Wednesday evening, was recorded by an onboard closed circuit camera system.
The perpetrators were apprehended after the bus driver triggered an alarm from his cab, and detained them until the police arrived within a matter of minutes.
