Hungary's Former PM Gyurcsány: “I Should Have Quit In 2008”
Former prime minister Ferenc Gyurcsány told ATV that he should have resigned after the referendum in 2008, as there were strong differences between his party and himself. In the referendum voters scrapped fees for visiting hospitals and also vetoed tuition charges for post-secondary education.

His cabinet pursued a light reform policy, but he was not strong enough to decide to leave, Gyurcsány said.
