Data Shows Rise In Unsolved Crimes In Hungary
The number of crimes reported to police rose from 394,000 in 2009 to 472,000 last year, the Prosecutor General’s Office reports. The number of unsolved crimes in 2012 was the highest in 20 years, Népszabadság reported.

The worst year was 1998, when 268,000 of the 600,000 reported crimes remained unsolved. Last year 274,000 cases remained unsolved.
