Hungary's Social Union President Szili Founds New KTI Party
Social Union president Katalin Szili announced the formation of a new party, named Community for Social Fairness (KTI), in Budapest on Thursday. Szili said the goal of the new party, formed through the co-operation of 12 parties and associations, is to offer a chance to those unrepresented by the existing parties, including the nearly four million poor and undecided voters “about whom nobody cares”.

The party intends to put forward 160 parliamentary candidates at the 2014 elections.

“The parties that call themselves left-wing are democratic but not sufficiently nationalistic, while the right-wing parties are nationalistic but not democratic enough,” she said.
