Romanian songstress Luiza Zan is one of the most interesting and original jazz singers not just in this Central-East European region but in the whole of Europe. She sings an intriguing and highly individual mixture of jazz, rhythm’n’blues, funk and bossa nova. In 2004 she came second at the Montreux International Jazz Festival’s Jazz Voice competition.
Two years ago she made her rip-roaring British debut at London’s legendary 606 Club and hasn’t looked back since. Two of Hungary’s top jazz artists, pianist Péter Sárik and guitar player István Gyárfás have been at us for some time now to give them an opportunity to play with her again, something that they have done several times at various festivals abroad. This superb team will be augmented by bassist Tibor Fónay and Attila Gálfi on the drums.

There is no compulsion to eat or drink but there is a well stocked bar with also cocktails made to order at non-extortionate prices. For food you’ll have to resort to a staple diet of sandwiches, crisps and nuts.
