My respects to the provincial football teams, however until Ferencváros and Újpest is not internationally recognized, there will be no strong Hungarian football either. I hope that this stadium will contribute to it, declared Mayor István Tarlós during his visit to the FTC stadium construction site. Government commissioner Balázs Fürjes, while introducing the facility in construction, has marked that the construction goes ahead of its schedule, and will be structurally completed by the end of this year. It means that the club will already be able to start the season 2014/15 here.
The construction creates jobs for more than 2,000 people, and thus it secures the livelihood of at least 2,000 families as well. According to plans, by the end of this year the arena, with the capacity of 22,000, will be structurally completed, which means that the exterior works will be soon completed, said Balázs Fürjes.
