European Countries, Including Hungary Targeted By Chinese Hackers
Chinese hackers have broken into the computer systems of foreign ministries in European countries, among them Hungary, the New York Times reported on Tuesday, citing a report by the US cyber security firm Fireeye.

The cyberattacks affecting ministries in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Bulgaria and Latvia started in 2010 and are still on-going, the report said. It is not possible to say whether the attacks can be linked to the Chinese government, only that the hackers were Chinese.

However, the New York Times said that the Chinese government had earlier been responsible for several similar attacks.
