Hungary’s state-owned National Waste Management Agency (OHÜ) has offered 1.55 billion forints (EUR 5.2m) in subsidies for waste management projects and developments. Tenders for the free financing are expected from Jan. 10 to Feb. 15.
If sums earmarked for winners reach the 1.55 billion forint limit before Feb. 15, tendering will be suspended until further resources could be made available, OHÜ said.
SMEs, municipal and state-owned service companies can bid for funds of between 5 million and 250 million forints to cover from between 50% and 100% of project costs.
