- 29 Jan 2014 12:00 AM
Snow began falling before dawn on Wednesday in Budapest. Forecasters predicted up to 3-4cm of snow in the capital and elsewhere in the country, except the south-east corner. The freshly fallen snow is creating dangerous driving conditions as the clean-up operation is relatively slow. Drivers are advised to use caution on the roads. According to meteorologists, rain will replace snow on Thursday and will stop by Friday.
