Hungary’s Socialist Leader Mesterházy Blames Orbán For “Creating Crisis ”
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán must step down because he has created a crisis in the economy, in society and in democracy, which will hold back Hungary in the long run, Socialist chairman Attila Mesterházy told a public forum in Tiszaújváros, eastern Hungary.

Mesterházy, who is prime ministercandidate of the leftist Unity alliance, told an audience of some 600 people that in case of a government change everybody would have a chance for prosperity.

The Socialist leader marked Hungary’s day of remembrance of the victims of communist dictatorship, but added that the victims of all dictatorships should be paid tribute to including “ones of the modern age such as you can see in this country where there is a parliamentary dictatorship in which the majority abuses its two-thirds power”.
