IKEA Hungary Annual Sales Reach Huf 35bn

IKEA Magyarország had revenue of 35 billion forints (EUR 112m) in its business year ended August 31, up 2.5% from the previous year, the director of the store in Budaörs on the outskirts of Budapest said.
IKEA has a 21.9% share of Hungary’s home furnishings market, but it aims to raise the share to 25% within five years, said Eszter Árvai.
Visitor numbers at the two IKEA stores in Hungary edged up 1% to 4.5 million in the 2012/13 business year.
