Hungarian Businessman Welsz Death Still A Mystery
Businessman Tamás Welsz handed over to police almost all available documentation of his illegal activity before he died in a police car last Thursday, Népszabadság learned from police sources.

The documents include application forms for the false Guinea-Bissau passports made out to former Socialist vice-president Gábor Simon and others in the past few years, as well as photocopies of several completed passports.

Welsz handed over a tremendous quantity of documents to the police, the daily adds.

Apart from his involvement in bogus passports, Welsz was on an Interpol wanted list last year due to fraud committed in Panama.

Police have not yet revealed the cause of his death, saying that results of tests for toxins in his body will not be known for several days.
