Hungary’s Gov Submits 2014-2020 Partnership Agreement To EU
The government has submitted Hungary’s partnership agreement for the 2014-2020 budgetary period to the European Union. This will open up 10,500 billion forints of funding to Hungary, the deputy state secretary for development policy said. Nándor Csepreghy told a meeting of the western Transdanubian association of chambers of commerce and industry that the agreement had been submitted over the weekend, prior to the deadline.

The government plans to submit the operative programmes to the European Commission by the end of March.

The first tenders for the current seven-year budget period are expected to be invited in the middle of the year, and all operative programme tenders are planned to be invited by October the latest, Csepreghy said.
