The first day of the festival focuses on the typicall Palóc gastronomy as the orgnaizers has invited all the biggest palóc gastronomy festivals to showcase their products during the first day of the Eastern Festival. This means that very authentic local dishes will be able to taste just from the oven by the folk dressed-up ladies.

This day also about the children, as many folk games will serve their time in the village in different places, while Szalóki Ági family concert and other tale will make their day happier.

20. April 2014. – Eastern Sunday

Easter is mainly a two-day holiday (Eastern Sunday and Monday) in Hungary, celebrated with great fanfare and religious fervor. This year the whole village of Hollókő will celebrate Easter from early in the morning in ornamented folk clothes. There will be traditional water pouring, egg painting and Hungarian dishes. Also there will be a full-day of folklore programmes, concerts a display of folk arts and crafts for purchase, artisan presentations, gastronomic specialities, and Easter games for children.
