Várkert Bazár Works In Budapest Begin Phase Two

The upgrading of Lánchíd utca and its environs begins on Tuesday, kicking off phase two in the development of Várkert Bazár in Buda Castle district. The streets will be resurfaced and street lights modernised.
As well, lanes for cyclists, new tram stops and fountains will be added, and green areas expanded. The overall costs of the project total Ft 1.6 billion. It will be complete by the August 20 national holiday, it is reported.
