Floralia Festival In Budapest, 24 - 25 May
Aquincum, the ancestor of Budapest, was a major Roman settlement in Hungary from the first century B.C. to the fifth century A.D. Over the last few years the 'Floralia' festival has become a popular family-friendly program there in the 3rd district of Budapest. The event offers a wide variety of programs including encountersoldiers, gladiators, craftspeople and actors.

The most important of the many events held at the Aquincum Museum harks back to one of the most popular Roman festivals. On this weekend,the antique town of Aquincum comes back to life. Visitors will have a chance to encountersoldiers, gladiators, craftspeople and actors.
