Foreigners Living In Hungary Can Vote In EU Elections
Non-Hungarian EU citizens with a Hungarian address have until 4 p.m. May 9 to register to vote in the May 25 European Parliament elections.

EU citizens with a Hungarian address may vote for Hungarian parties if they so request.

The National Election Office earlier this year notified 107,000 EU citizens resident in Hungary that they can vote in Hungary, of whom 5,000 have indicated that they would prefer to vote for a Hungarian party.

Applications may also be submitted via the website www.valasztas.hu.
