Hungary's Jobbik Overtakes Socialists In Poll
- 16 May 2014 9:00 AM
Jobbik has overtaken the Socialist Party in popularity among potential voters, according to the latest Medián poll. If elections were held this coming Sunday, 17% of decided party voters would opt for Jobbik, as against 14% for the Socialists. Fidesz would have 56% support, LMP and Together 4% each, and the Democratic Coalition 2%.
Fidesz, Jobbik and the Socialist Party can be certain of winning seats in the European Parliament, Medián observes, while the success for LMP, Together and the Democratic Coalition is doubtful.
