Hungarian Reformed World Summit Opens In Transylvania
Speakers addressing the opening event of the 7th Hungarian Reformed World Summit in Sfantu Gheorghe (Sepsiszentgyörgy) in Transylvania on Thursday highlighted the importance of togetherness.

Minister for Human Resources Zoltán Balog, a Calvinist pastor, said events such as the current summit could strengthen the community and the sense of belonging together.

He expressed the Hungarian government’s determination to utilise the strength of the community and “attach it as tightly as possible to the strength of all Hungarians in the Carpathian Basin.”

Béla Kató, bishop of the Transylvanian district of the Reformed Church in Romania, said the summit would demolish walls raised between Hungarian reformed churches by World War I.
