Hungary’s MOL & Croatian Gov Talk About Commonly Owned INA
Talks between MOL and the Croatian government on their commonly owned energy company INA made little or no progress on Friday.

MOL said its officials arrived in Zagreb with the best intentions, but Croatian Economy Minister Ivan Vrdoljak did not reveal his government’s plans for the future governance of INA.

Vrdoljak told reporters that his government cannot ignore the fact that a court found former prime minister Ivo Sanader guilty of accepting a bribe to let MOL gain management control of INA.

As long as both parties still own shares in INA there is hope for a solution, he noted.

MOL also objected that business questions were not addressed, and Vrdoljak made no firm proposal on changing INA’s regulatory environment, MOL added.
