Another New Deputy PM Appointed in Hungary: Mr Ruff
Prime Minister Peter Magyar on Tuesday appointed Balint Ruff, head of the Prime Minister's Office, as deputy prime minister.

Magyar said on Facebook on the sidelines of his first official prime ministerial visit abroad that he had decided on Ruff's appointment in case he himself or the foreign minister, who had already been made deputy PM, should be obstructed in performing their tasks.

Magyar said he was taking a commercial flight to Krakow, making a stopover in Vienna, then he would travel on to Warsaw by train.

The prime minister is accompanied by Foreign Minister Anita Orban, Transport and Investment Minister David Vitezy, Defence Minister Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi, Social Relations and Culture Minister Zoltan Tarr, as well as Szabolcs Bona, the minister for agriculture and food production.

According to the prime minister, the Hungarian delegation will meet with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, President Karol Nawrocki, as well as the speakers of Polish parliament.

Magyar will have talks with Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker and President Alexander Van der Bellen in Vienna on Thursday, before returning to Budapest in the evening.
