Hungarian Assent For Ökotárs Denied
There is no evidence that the government agreed to the selection of Ökotárs for handling Norwegian civil grants in 2008, Magyar Nemzet reported last night.

The report says Norway’s Brussels-based financing mechanism office was unable to provide evidence of the assent to the government accountability office KEHI.

As a result, the KEHI says it is doubtful whether the consortium run by Ökotárs is distributing funds legally.

The tax number of the foundation has meanwhile been suspended by the tax authority at the KEHI’s request.
