Childhood is a journey, that leads through many stations, from the childrens vulnerability due to their characters being controlled and to the self-questionings of the teenagers. This road is accompanied by the parents, they are offering the rhythm and the tune, meanwhile the child is dancing.
This is what is going to happen in Rita Góbi Company’s The Apple of my Eye performance.
The dance performance is accompanied with early baroque music that is defining the dramaturgical line of the performance. Who is offering the music?
Two musicians (Mónika Tóth and Csaba Gyulai), who are not only the „musicians” but they have an active, parental role as well.
