Literary Dinner With Adam Lebor @ Brody Studios Budapest, 29 October
- 29 Oct 2014 8:04 AM
In this new thriller from the author of The Geneva Option, UN covert negotiator Yael Azoulay is drawn into the dark heart of America’s military-industrial complex in the Middle East and beyond; a world of chilling conspiracies and powerful enemies who neither forgive, nor forget.
Adam LeBor writes for The Economist, the New York Times, The Times (London), Monocle, the Daily Beast and numerous other publications. As well as The Geneva Option, also featuring Yael Azoulay (eliciting strong interest in Hollywood), Adam is the author of The Budapest Protocol; his nonfiction books include Tower of Basel; Hitler’s Secret Bankers, which was short-listed for the Orwell Prize; City of Oranges, which was short-listed for the Jewish Quarterly Prize; and Complicity with Evil. Born in London, Adam has lived in Budapest for over 20 years.
The evening will be structured around an author talk followed by a book-inspired menu of American classics – Fairbank Martinis, Long Island Duck, Washington State Apple Pie… all accompanied by local Hungarian wines.
