Hungary’s E - PM: Chief Prosecutor “Accomplice To Corrupt Govt”
The chief public prosecutor is "assisting as an accomplice" to the "corrupt government" of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán when it sits idle instead of investigating the US entry ban, the party’s co-chair, Viktor Szigetvári, told a press conference.

The public prosecutor’s office should be demanding information from tax office NAV chief Ildikó Vida, who has been banned from entering the US in line with a presidential order against persons involved in or benefiting from corruption and the office should also carry out an investigation into the case, he added.

After the press conference in front of the public prosecutor’s office, Szigetvári met public prosecutor Péter Polt inside the building.

Polt said all possible legal steps had been taken, adding that his office was determined to fight corruption and would make every possible effort to do so in keeping with the law.
