Giulio Quirici, theorbo and guitar, Mariano Boglioli, harpsichord
Isabel Favilla is co-founder of Radio Antiqua, Duo Schifanoia and La Favilla. She has been performing throughout Europe and South America with ensembles such as Concerto d’Amsterdam, La Sfera Armoniosa, Le concert Bourgeois and Les Muffatti. She has recorded for the labels Deutsche Gramophon, Ramée and Orf with Il Complesso Barocco, Collegium Musicum Den Haag, Orquestra Barroca de Juiz de Fora and Les Muffatti. Since September 2012 she teaches recorder at Amsterdam’s School for Early Music.
Teodoro Baù began learning the viola da gamba with Claudia Pasetto in Castelfranco Veneto conservatory. He graduated in Verona consevatory in 2012, with Alberto Rasi. He studied renaissance lute for eight years with Massimo Lonardi in Venice. He has attended several viola da gamba masterclasses with Roberto Gini, Vittorio Ghielmi and Guido Balestracci. He plays also the medieval fiddle in the ensemble “La Fonte Musica”. Presently he’s attending a mater program at Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, studying with Paolo Pandolfo.
He regularly performs as a soloist and in chamber ensembles and orchestras in important festivals, such as Festival “Settimane Barocche" di Brescia, “Mazovia Goes Baroque” in Warsaw and Płock, “Muzyka w Raju” in Paradyz, Festival “Resonanzen” in Vienna, Festival “Grandezze & Meraviglie” in Modena. He collaborated with artistis as: Cecilia Bartoli, Roy Goodman, Alfredo Bernardini, Diego Fasolis, duo “Les Voix Humaines” (Margaret Little & Susie Napper).
He was awarded numerous prizes and has several recordings to his credit, with Decca, Naxos and Diastema; he participated to the recording of “Mission”, the Cecilia Bartoli’s release. Teodoro was awarded the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship for the academic years 2013-2014 and 2014-2015.
Giulio Quirici , from Italy, plays historical lutes, guitars, theorbo and jazz guitar. He’s continuo player in various chamber music groups and performed under the direction of Philippe Pierlot, Enrico Gatti, Charles Toet, Mike Fentross among others. Festivals include Ambronay, Pavia, Innsbruck, Modena, Utrecht and Bruges fringe. Giulio graduated from the Royal Conservatory of the Hague where he studied jazz and baroque music and is currently employed in The Hague as a guitar teacher.
Mariano Boglioli, born in Argentina, has performed harpsichord and organ with the most renowned orchestral ensembles in Argentina and Uruguay under the direction of Manfredo Kraemer, Juan Manuel Quintana, and Marcelo Birman among others. Mariano is an active chamber musician, performing and conducting diverse instrumental and vocal ensembles. He is currently a student of Jaques Ogg and Patrick Ayrton at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
